The investigation of a unbalanced barrel pitching system’s characteristics degradation and compensation under gradual erosion behavior

The unbalanced barrel pitching system is a typical electro-hydraulic coupling servo control system, the performance of which determines response speed and hit probability vehicle mounted weapon equipment. However, in actual service process, its core component, high precision jet pipe valve, will produce gradual erosion pilot stage’s receivers power throttling edges, induce degradation finally greatly reduce weapons. Therefore, pressure position double loop state space model including parameters established. behavior mechanism valve constructed, characteristics under condition are further analyzed. Finally, aiming at structure internal external loop, RBF Network Adaptive Robust Sliding Mode-Proportional Integral Derivative two-stage controller designed, based on experimental platform built. results good agreement with theoretical results, so proposed method can effectively suppress structural induced by erosion, that is, it better compensate behavior.
